How many years have you put into acting now? How did acting start for you? Where were you when you started?

I started professionally around 2004, started with Saudi and Atila in those days, later moved to legacy caucus which was co-owned by Kunle Afod and some of his friends… learned the rudiments of this job from them and here I am today.

You are not Yoruba but you have blended so well into Yoruba movies. How did you achieve that?

Actually before I lost my husband, he knew my love for acting was strong so he appealed to me to have the 4 kids we planned on having before joining the industry but he wanted me to do strictly English and Igbo films, I accepted but as God will have it, he died before seeing that dream come true, so when I finally decided to pursue my dream, I tried the English industry but after all the auditions I did, I got nothing, but when I came in through the Yoruba Industry I was accepted and the fact that I speak yoruba fluently helped me blend perfectly amongst them but right now I do anyone that come, ENGLISH, YORUBA etc as long as I can communicate in the language

What part of the country are you from? Where were you born? Where did you grow up?

I am from Enugu State Agwu LGA …. born, bread and buttered in Lagos …. I have been living in Lagos since I was born till date

I roll with everyone, but people I can call my friends includes Liz Dasilva, Kenny George, Funke etti, etc

Is Regina single or married? Do you have kids?

Widowed with 2kids

How come you’ve had a great career devoid of controversies?

It is not me, its God, plus I try as much as possible to stay away from things my kids will read in the news abt me and become sad, disappointed or embarrassed….. I am their father and mother in one, I need to leave Good legacy for them to emulate, my first is a girl, she will be 18 soon, how do I correct her if all she reads abt me is scandalous. They give me the strength to always stay clean

At the end of the day what sort of a person are?

I am proud to say I am a very straightforward person, I am strict (no nonsense type) I play pretense for a living but I cant pretend in the real to save my ass …. I say the truth no matter how it hurts, quick to say sorry but I have anger issue but I really dont take things to heart once I am allowed to Express my feeling at every point in time #i am Aries#
