Davido has reacted after being slammed by Zlatan Ibile’s friends, shortly after the singer was released alongside 3 others from EFCC custody.
While it was reported earlier that Davido effected the release of the rapper by hiring a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Zlatan’s friends countered it by claiming that it was Olamide and Burna Boy who helped in their release. This led to a back and forth drag session between Davido’s camp and Zlatan’s camp.
This is coming after we reported that EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade who confirmed that the suspects were released on administrative bail, revealed that Naira Marley wasn’t released because he there was overwhelming evidence against him.
“There is overwhelming evidence against Naira Marley; so we can’t afford to release him on administrative bail like Zlatan and the three others.
“That Zlatan has been released does not mean they have been discharged and acquitted. Naira Marley is still in our custody and will be charged to court soon and we will make the charges known in an official statement soon.”
Zlatan Ibile launched his career in 2017. He is best known for his hit song, “My Body” and the “Shaku Shaku” dance step. He became famous in January 2019, after he featured on Davido’s song titled ‘bum bum’.
